COMMUNITY SPEEDWATCH AND STREETWATCH SCHEMES
Speedwatch is a volunteer programme organised between Northamptonshire Police, Northamptonshire County Council and Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE). The programme aims to increase the awareness of the dangers of speeding through education. Drivers detected for speeding receive a Police Warning letter and their records are held to identify any repeat offenders.
For more information see that attached flyer, which contains details on how to set up a scheme in your area.
Streetwatch is about you and your neighbours working together to keep your area safe. Simply walking around in your own neighbourhood, talking with your friends and neighbours. Street Watch also gives you an opportunity to get involved in other things that will help in your community. Local police will keep in regular contact with Streetwatch members to share information and work with you to keep your area safe. See more information at the link below.
Parish Council meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month.
